Description
For over 65 years, The Arc San Francisco has worked to make sure people with intellectual and developmental disabilities have every resource they need to lead better lives.Together with the support of our business and community partners, The Arc has given people with disabilities like autism, Down syndrome and cerebral palsy a chance to realize their highest potential.
Join Honorary Chairs Heklina, Bevan Dufty and Donna Sachet, legendary singer and fundraiser, at the 2016 Cirque de l’Arc on Tuesday, May 24, 2016. This year's Cirque honors the legendary Kitty Glamour, aka Mark Kirk, who has been The Arc's Director of Facilities and Operations for 25+ years. Mark retired from The Arc in March 2016, pledging to terrorize Palm Springs.
Circus acts at Oasis, combined with fun foods and beverages, will set the stage for the highlight of the evening – a drag revue featuring some of San Francisco’s most entertaining performers plus stage performances by The Arc Unstoppables. Guests will also enjoy a Silent Auction of unique art, wines and vacations.
The 3rd Annual Cirque de l'Arc in May 2014 was a rousing success, with strong participation from the LBGT community of artists, performers and public figures. We count on relationships in the wider community to sustain our work and provide more opportunities for our clients.
This event celebrates Kitty's legacy of inclusion and the vital work of The Arc San Francisco and the community that makes independence possible for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Proceeds from Cirque de l'Arc support The Arc's Healthy Relationships curriculum and Arc Ally anti-bulllying mentors.
For more information about making a donation of goods or services for the Auction, please contact Marti Sullivan at 415-255-7200 x 119.
Please plan to join us for the fun and festivities and to give Kitty a fond farewell! This will be one evening you won't want to miss honoring the fabulous Kitty Glamour! As Kitty says, "How can you miss me if I won't go away?"
